The brick mansion is located in Fort Collins and serves as a home for convicts on parole and also, self-referred clients. Founded in 2011, the facility is dedicated to creating a clean environment where clients can begin the long-term journey to sobriety. Clients at home are self-referred, professionally-referred, or court-ordered. The facility maintains a zero tolerance policy for all substances and alcohol use at all times. Every night clients are required to take a breathalyzer, as well as urine test at multiple times during their stay. All residents of the home are required to attend one 12-step meeting (Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous) daily, or must be registered at an outpatient treatment facility, or must be attending a church program. Genesis Recovery Service offers its patients an accommodation capable of accommodating 20 inpatients treatment clients which are located in an apartment building. The rooms at this accommodation are hospital like designed with plain but not good looking furniture. This facility accommodation also offers common areas such as the patient lounge With a population of people served including men, women, those who are suffering from HIV or AIDs, criminal justice clients and DUI offender, Genesis Recovery Services has grown to be safe place for those struggling and suffering from substance abuse and addictions or are in need of dual diagnosis requiring a long or short term treatment plan. At Genesis Recovery Services, the accommodation offered to their patients is an apartment building which houses only 20 patients who apply for the inpatient treatment program but also has available space for patients applying for outpatient treatment on the condition that the patient should have undergone inpatient treatment at the facility. The food served to patients at this facility is not all that great and one would easily call it a cafeteria kind of meal (french dip, sandwiches, soup, and mac and cheese). Although this facility does not pay proper attention to meals served, patients with strict dietary needs are accommodated. Genesis Recovery Services applies their main focus on their patients needs rather than utilizing mainly 12-Step treatment option or any form of religious approach program which enables their patients to quickly and easily recover and remain sober. Because this facility does not offer medically assisted detox, patients are required to be free or in other words clean from any substance and must have undergone medically assisted detox at another facility prior to contacting this facility. On a regular day at this facility, patients are required to attend a group therapy sessions, two 12-Step meetings(which is not mandatory), and at most two one-on-one counseling sessions conducted by the facility which is strictly influenced by the patient’s needs.
