Center for Therapeutic Interventions

7477 E 46th PL, Tulsa, OK, 74145
Overview

Center for Therapeutic Interventions (CTI) is a comprehensive co-occurring outpatient counseling agency. It was developed with a purpose to make it available to persons with addiction and mental health or emotional problems to get comprehensive help, care, and support. CTI was founded 12 years ago as a counseling agency in two locations: Tulsa and Bartlesville, Ohio. They use a strength-based approach to show clients and their families that recovery is possible. Through their services, CTI aims to improve the quality of life of their clients and the community itself. It is their belief that all people have innate strengths from which they can draw in times of crises, but some people experience difficulties that require therapeutic intervention. Intervention and assistance by a professional are sometimes both necessary and beneficial for empowering and encouragement that a person with an addiction or mental health problem needs to recover.

Types Of Treatment Provided

Although this treatment center provides outpatient services only, they do a great job aiding their clients through the process of recovery, but also supporting their families. That way, CTI has a positive influence on the overall community which is incredibly important. The main goal of their services is to increase a client’s functioning, reduce symptoms, and prevent additional functional impairment. Each client is thoroughly assessed in order to determine the severity of their problem and to create an individualized treatment plan for their needs, strengths, and abilities. CTI treats persons with a gambling problem, substance abuse problems, and mental health issues. Their substance abuse program consists of outpatient and intensive outpatient services with scheduled sessions that clients need to attend in order to complete the program and successfully achieve sobriety. As you’re already aware, the intensive outpatient program is suitable for persons who have just completed residential treatment or for those whose addiction doesn’t require inpatient treatment but it’s still severe enough to demand a more structured approach. The outpatient program is less strict, but still supportive, allows more freedom, and is ideal for maintaining sobriety. All services are gender-specific, and families are encouraged to participate. The intensive outpatient program consists of nine or more hours of scheduled sessions a week but doesn’t exceed 12 hours. On the flip side, the outpatient program consists of eight hours of sessions a week or even less. It’s important to mention CTI doesn’t focus on 12-step approach toward recovery and sobriety, but it’s encouraged to attend AA/NA meetings in between sessions.

Methods of Addiction Treatment

The official website doesn’t reveal much about all therapies that are provided to their patients. Clients attend both group and individual therapy sessions during their program. Family therapies are also provided because a person’s family plays a strong role in their recovery process. Evidence-based approaches are utilized so they focus on cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational therapy. Both forms of therapy are scientifically proven to work for different kinds of problems, including addiction.

Amenities

It’s easy to assume that outpatient treatment centers don’t have many amenities to offer, but that’s not quite correct. Some amenities provided by CTI include the following:Smaller, more comfortable setting at therapy sessions (no more than ten persons) | Ambulatory detox offered | Dual diagnosis support | Support and education | Integrated treatment

Payment Type Accepted

Many services provided by CTI are free for clients who meet eligibility criteria. The treatment center has many contracts through the Department of Mental Health that allows clients to get some services without having to pay for them. They are also a provider for Medicaid, Title IXX, and Soonercare. Clients who are capable of paying for CTI’s services are expected to do so. Reduced fee or sliding scale is only set with verification of a person’s income. As far as sliding scale is concerned, besides income family size also plays a role in qualifying for this payment option.

Staff

Unfortunately, the official website of the Center for Therapeutic Interventions does not display biographies of team members included into daily functions of the facility. Their therapeutic team is experienced, knowledgeable, and equipped to provide services that will help clients and their families. Staff members displayed on the website along with their roles include:Janet Cizek – CEO | Jennifer Wilburn – COO | Dustin Bryan – opioid recovery program coordinator | Kelsee Reeves – family drug court program coordinator | Erika Engelman – felony drug court program coordinator | Gary Denny – medical director | Tara Hurst – child welfare program coordinator | Allison Eldridge – PA-C

Park Place Behavioral Healthcare

206 Park Place Blvd, Kissimmee, FL, 34746
Overview

Park Place Behavioral Healthcare is a facility that specializes in providing patients access to different treatment services that focuses on the patient’s mental health, as well as to assist in treating addictions that the patient may be suffering from. The facility has a strong focus on a dual-diagnosis program, where multiple disorders are treated simultaneously in order to help the patient get out of a dark place that they might be facing, and give the patient a chance at full recovery. The center was initially founded in 1976 and has since expanded greatly. Park Place Behavioral Healthcare is part of the Community Mental Health Center and focuses on providing recovery services to patients who reside within the Osceola County. They currently have more than 30 different programs that patients are offered with in order to ensure they can recover from various disorders and conditions that could be making life more difficult for them.

Types Of Treatment Provided

Park Place Behavioral Healthcare has quite a large number of services and treatment options that they offer the patients who come to their facility for help. The services offered at the facility are divided into two groups, including mental health services and substance abuse recovery services. Each patient will be assessed by a counselor, and an individual program will then be developed for the patient in order to address all of the symptoms that they present. Some of the treatment services for addictions offered at Park Place Behavioral Healthcare include:Outpatient services | Detoxification services | Partial hospitalization program | Intensive outpatient program | Residential treatment program | Recovery peer support services | Medication-assisted treatment

Methods of Addiction Treatment

While each patient at Park Place Behavioral Healthcare is offered an individualized treatment plan that focuses on their specific condition, it should be noted that therapy plays an important part in all programs offered to patients at the facility. While individualized therapy is crucial for all patients, the facility will also ask patients to attend several group meetings as part of their treatment program as well.

Amenities

Patients staying at the Park Place Behavioral Healthcare facility will be housed in a modest and comfortable home-like building where they can relax and experience a stress-free life during their treatment phase. There are various amenities that are made available to patients, such as fully furnished private rooms, a basketball court on the outside of the facility, and a gym that allows patients to work out during their stay at the facility. A cafeteria is available at the facility, where the patients are served multiple meals each day.

Payment Type Accepted

Park Place Behavioral Healthcare does not offer a lot of detailed information about the payment options that the patient is offered when they are interested in being treated for their addiction disorders at the facility. Patients may request a verification on their insurance benefits by contacting the facility directly. If the patient’s insurance plan will not cover their treatment, or the patient does not have an active insurance program, then the patient will be held responsible for their own bill. Details in terms of financial arrangements are not provided, but patients may inquire with third-party financing institutions if they need access to a medical loan.

Staff

The official website that represents the Park Place Behavioral Healthcare facility does not provide any details related to the staff members who patients will meet when they decide to undergo treatment at this facility for the addictions that they are suffering from. This can be an unfortunate factor for those patients who feel that they would like to know about the psychiatrists, nurses, and perhaps even the program directors at the facility before they decide if they would like to be treated for their addictions at the facility. Fortunately, the center does seem to truly care about their patients, which means a visit to the center may allow the patient interested in being treated at the center to meet some of the staff members who will be caring for them when they are treated through a substance abuse program at Park Place Behavioral Healthcare.

Licence(s)

Park Place Behavioral Healthcare has not provided details of their accreditations or any other credentials that the facility holds on their main website. We were also unable to determine if the local state authorities have provided the facility with a license to offer patients in the local region access to treatment services for addictions and mental health problems.
