The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at the Helping Associates, Inc. rehabilitation center lasts around four months. It includes individual and group therapy sessions of which the individual therapy sessions take place once a week, while the group therapy sessions take place three times a week. As time passes, and the patient’s condition improves, the individual therapy sessions are excluded from the program, and the patient is required to attend only group therapy sessions that become less frequent over time.
