LifeLine For Youth

1130 W Center St, North Salt Lake, UT, 84054
Overview

At LifeLine For Youth, the founders understand that adolescents are often exposed to substances that may cause them harm and lead to the development of an addiction – these include illicit drugs, along with alcohol. This is why the center was founded initially – to provide effective treatment programs that target drug and alcohol addictions among teenagers in the local region. Apart from being able to assist in the treatment of addictions in adolescent patients, the treatment center has also developed a range of programs that can help the patients overcome the co-occurring disorders and behavioral issues that may be causing them further difficulties in their lives. These behavioral problems may include problems with the relationships they share with their families, as well as problems in school, problems with pornography, destructive behavior, and criminal behaviors.

Types Of Treatment Provided

All of the treatments that are administered to patients who undergo treatment at LifeLine For Youth are evidence-based and research-based therapeutic solutions that have already been proven to effectively assist in ensuring patients can overcome mental disorders, behavioral problems, and, of course, addictions. The programs help the patients grow and introduce them to multiple stages throughout their journey to recovery. Each patient is also provided with a full assessment before they are provided with any type of treatment to ensure the staff at the facility can completely understand what the patient is going through and how the center would be able to help the patient throughout their recovery period. Four primary stages form part of a patient’s recovery treatment at LifeLine For You. These four stages include:The Discovery Stage, which is based on a residential treatment approach | The Recovery Stage, which further provides the patient with residential treatment | The Integrate Stage, which is an intensive outpatient treatment program | The Aftercare Stage, which ensures the patient can receive continued support

Habilitat Inc

45-035 Kuhonu Pl, Kaneohe, HI, 96744
Overview

Habilitat Inc is a treatment facility that has grown significantly over the last few decades. The original center was initially founded in 1971. Over the years, the founder was able to expand the offerings at the addiction recovery center to accommodate many patients at a time and to provide these patients with effective recovery services that ensure they have a better chance at recovering from their addictions. The goal of Habilitat is to ‘build better people’ by ensuring every single patient who comes to the facility to heal is given every chance that they need to do so – in a safe environment that will never expose the patient to the substances that caused them to be admitted to the facility in the first place. While the majority of facilities in the United States that focuses on addiction recovery specializes in providing patients access to the standard 12-step program, Habilitat has rather developed an alternative program that they offer patients access to. The facility believes that real and long-term recovery takes time, which is why the recovery programs that are offered at the facility takes quite a while before the patient graduates and moves on to getting back to their lives. In addition to the addiction recovery services, patients who are treated at Habilitat will also be given access to several vocational training services to help them get ready for life after treatment.

Types Of Treatment Provided

Patients who come to Habilitat for treatment will stay in residential care for 30 months in total. There are various services and treatment protocols that are included in a patient’s program while they are staying at the facility. The specific services that are made available to the patient usually depend on their condition, which will be determined during an initial consultation with a counselor at the facility. These options may include:An initial treatment phase that generally lasts six months | Morning meetings | Daily seminars | Behavioral treatment services | Counseling services | Self-awareness sessions

Before admission to The Pathfinder, a client must be sober for at least 72 hours. As seen above, the treatment center focuses on a residential program. Duration of the inpatient program is 90 days, and it consists of four phases. The very first phase is orientation which takes place over two weeks. During this phase, clients are obliged to find their sponsors. In addition, they attend 12-step meetings which are held offsite. Transportation to the meeting and back to the residential facility is arranged. Throughout this phase, patients are not allowed to drive their own car or use a mobile phone. While these regulations may seem strict, they’re all a part of the process that helps men heal and focus on what truly matters – their health. Besides 12-step meetings, patients participate in individual and group therapy sessions. While individual therapy sessions are arranged based on the client’s needs, group counseling is held twice a day. These meetings take place onsite. During group meetings, men discuss a variety of subjects including relapse prevention. They use their experiences to connect with others but also to learn from their mistakes. Once the orientation phase is over clients, proceed to the next stage. They are required to find a job in order to pay for the housing fees, but also because of responsibility and a sense of purpose aid recovery. At this point, clients can go outside and leave the premises, but they must be back by 10 pm. To avoid any problems, random drug and alcohol screenings are carried out. It’s useful to mention that The Pathfinder services are available to men with alcoholism, mental health problems, drug addiction, and dual diagnosis. The intensive outpatient program is also provided along with aftercare support. In other words, The Pathfinder supports you on the way to recovery and helps you maintain it for a healthier and happier life.
