Center for Therapeutic Interventions

7477 E 46th PL, Tulsa, OK, 74145
Overview

Center for Therapeutic Interventions (CTI) is a comprehensive co-occurring outpatient counseling agency. It was developed with a purpose to make it available to persons with addiction and mental health or emotional problems to get comprehensive help, care, and support. CTI was founded 12 years ago as a counseling agency in two locations: Tulsa and Bartlesville, Ohio. They use a strength-based approach to show clients and their families that recovery is possible. Through their services, CTI aims to improve the quality of life of their clients and the community itself. It is their belief that all people have innate strengths from which they can draw in times of crises, but some people experience difficulties that require therapeutic intervention. Intervention and assistance by a professional are sometimes both necessary and beneficial for empowering and encouragement that a person with an addiction or mental health problem needs to recover.

Types Of Treatment Provided

Although this treatment center provides outpatient services only, they do a great job aiding their clients through the process of recovery, but also supporting their families. That way, CTI has a positive influence on the overall community which is incredibly important. The main goal of their services is to increase a client’s functioning, reduce symptoms, and prevent additional functional impairment. Each client is thoroughly assessed in order to determine the severity of their problem and to create an individualized treatment plan for their needs, strengths, and abilities. CTI treats persons with a gambling problem, substance abuse problems, and mental health issues. Their substance abuse program consists of outpatient and intensive outpatient services with scheduled sessions that clients need to attend in order to complete the program and successfully achieve sobriety. As you’re already aware, the intensive outpatient program is suitable for persons who have just completed residential treatment or for those whose addiction doesn’t require inpatient treatment but it’s still severe enough to demand a more structured approach. The outpatient program is less strict, but still supportive, allows more freedom, and is ideal for maintaining sobriety. All services are gender-specific, and families are encouraged to participate. The intensive outpatient program consists of nine or more hours of scheduled sessions a week but doesn’t exceed 12 hours. On the flip side, the outpatient program consists of eight hours of sessions a week or even less. It’s important to mention CTI doesn’t focus on 12-step approach toward recovery and sobriety, but it’s encouraged to attend AA/NA meetings in between sessions.

Methods of Addiction Treatment

The official website doesn’t reveal much about all therapies that are provided to their patients. Clients attend both group and individual therapy sessions during their program. Family therapies are also provided because a person’s family plays a strong role in their recovery process. Evidence-based approaches are utilized so they focus on cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational therapy. Both forms of therapy are scientifically proven to work for different kinds of problems, including addiction.

Amenities

It’s easy to assume that outpatient treatment centers don’t have many amenities to offer, but that’s not quite correct. Some amenities provided by CTI include the following:Smaller, more comfortable setting at therapy sessions (no more than ten persons) | Ambulatory detox offered | Dual diagnosis support | Support and education | Integrated treatment

Payment Type Accepted

Many services provided by CTI are free for clients who meet eligibility criteria. The treatment center has many contracts through the Department of Mental Health that allows clients to get some services without having to pay for them. They are also a provider for Medicaid, Title IXX, and Soonercare. Clients who are capable of paying for CTI’s services are expected to do so. Reduced fee or sliding scale is only set with verification of a person’s income. As far as sliding scale is concerned, besides income family size also plays a role in qualifying for this payment option.

Staff

Unfortunately, the official website of the Center for Therapeutic Interventions does not display biographies of team members included into daily functions of the facility. Their therapeutic team is experienced, knowledgeable, and equipped to provide services that will help clients and their families. Staff members displayed on the website along with their roles include:Janet Cizek – CEO | Jennifer Wilburn – COO | Dustin Bryan – opioid recovery program coordinator | Kelsee Reeves – family drug court program coordinator | Erika Engelman – felony drug court program coordinator | Gary Denny – medical director | Tara Hurst – child welfare program coordinator | Allison Eldridge – PA-C

White Horse Ranch

1601 Wilkie Rd, Mooreland, OK, 73852
Overview

White Horse Ranch is a company that was founded to provide an effective way to address substance abuse issues in young girls. The programs that are offered at this company focuses on a combination of therapies and treatment approaches that are usually tailored to each of the young teenage girls that come to the ranch, in order to provide the patient with the best chance at recovery. The staff members at White Horse Ranch understand that young girls may go through addictions and these substance abuse problems can cause significant problems in their future – such as a high risk of them dropping out of school, or potentially getting in their way of high grades in school. Through the implementation of an effective addiction treatment program, however, these issues can be resolved and the patient may go home sober.

Types Of Treatment Provided

White Horse Ranch uses a unique take on the standard 12-step program that facilities often utilize to help patients through their recovery. The facility breaks the treatment up into four different levels. Each patient will be enrolled at the level that is appropriate for them – which will be determined by the specific conditions they are suffering from. In addition to being able to assist in the treatment of addictions, the facility can also help the patients overcome co-occurring disorders that are often experienced alongside substance abuse issues. Each level consists of a treatment period that extends over 30 days in total. Patients who need to undergo treatment through all four levels will need to stay at the facility for a period of 120 days in order to complete all levels and be provided the appropriate support to help them on the road to sobriety. The four levels are named as follow:Level 1 – Grey Level | Level 2 – Brown Level | Level 3 – Green Level | Level 4 – Blue Level

Methods of Addiction Treatment

A variety of therapy options are presented to each of the patients who come to White Horse Ranch. The therapy options are combined into a personalized treatment program that has been tailored to provide a more effective approach to help the patient reach sobriety. Specific types of therapies that a patient may undergo at White Horse Ranch include:Individual therapy | Group therapy | Equine therapyAdditional therapeutic options like meditation, art therapy, and yoga therapy classes are also provided to students.

Amenities

Apart from being provided access to a range of animals that are roaming on the ranch, as part of the equine therapy programs that are offered to patients at White Horse Ranch, there are not a significant number of additional amenities that may be noted. The teenage patients who are being treated at the facility will be provided access to a computer, which they can use for school – they will be provided assignments to complete and hand in to ensure the patients stay on track with their academics while they are undergoing treatment.

Payment Type Accepted

No information is presented in terms of insurance programs. Patients are advised to contact the facility directly to find out if their insurance policy is accepted. Fees are calculated on a sliding-scale basis, which means the bill will depend on the income of the patient’s parents. Loan facilities are also available to those who are unable to afford the full amount billed before the patient is admitted.

Staff

After we looked at the website that represents White Horse Ranch, we found that the company has not released any statements or information that can help patients understand who the staff members are that administer treatment to those who come to the facility for treatment. Understanding more about the medical staff at a facility like White Horse Ranch might be crucial for both the patient and their parents. Should parents be concerned about who will be providing their teenage daughter with therapeutic services and other methods to assist in their recovery, they should first pay a visit to the White Horse Ranch themselves to get a better overview of what to expect. We did note that there are currently approximately 20 staff members employed at the facility. These include Licensed Mental Health Counselors, LADCs, LPCs, life coaches, nurses, and psychiatrist. A number of counselors that specializes in equine therapy also seems to be employed at White Horse Ranch.

Licence(s)

The official website of the White Horse Ranch addiction treatment facility states that the company has been fully licensed and that they do have the necessary insurance policies. Unfortunately, they do not provide any details in regards to which state authorities they have been licensed with. In addition to being fully licensed, the company has also been awarded an accreditation by CARF, also known as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. This means that the services offered to teenage girls with addiction problems at White Horse Ranch are of high quality and focuses on the recovery of the specific patient.
