Northern Mariana Islands Finding Treatment for Darvocet Addiction

Painkillers like Darvocet are a class of prescription drugs that are highly abused by people. In the US alone, every year forty million painkiller prescriptions are given out to individuals. People who abuse this class of drugs are mostly young adults between the ages of 18 and 25.

Since Darvocet consists of propoxyphene, the drug works directly on the central nervous system. This has the potential of putting the biochemistry of the brain off balance which forces the body to adjust to the continual usage of the drug. This can alter the normal functioning of the body. Gradually, one becomes dependent on the drug since the body is forced to adjust metabolically. It is this physical dependence on the drug that leads to addiction.

It is crucial for people to know what constitutes abuse, especially since Darvocet is so widely prescribed. Knowing the signs and symptoms that are linked to Darvocet addiction can help you detect if you or someone you know may have a Darvocet abuse problem.

There are a few questions you need to ask if you suspect an onset of addiction. Were you prescribed Darvocet? Have you been gradually increasing your dosage over the course of your treatment? Do you believe your use of the drug has made you dysfunctional? Do you think you may have an addiction that may require medical treatment?

Getting treatment is in the patients’ best interest if they are to get over their addiction and return to their lives as healthy functioning adults.

Steps House

808 Sevier Ave, Knoxville, TN, 37920
Overview

Steps House is an organization that specializes in the provisioning of sober living environments to patients in need of such services to assist in their recovery. Patients with different types of addictions are welcomed at the networked sober living houses that Steps House operates in order to become part of communities where drugs and alcohol are never tolerated, allowing sobriety to be promoted. The organization was initially founded in the year 1991. During the early stages of the company’s existence, Steps House specialized in providing male patients with access to sober living homes, but they have since launched a number of sober living homes where female patients may also reside while they are recovering from substance abuse disorders. While no specific residential treatment programs seem to be offered at the facility, there are services available to patients who are staying at the sober living houses that would usually be offered to patients at an inpatient rehabilitation center. These services are provided to patients at local facilities. There are also support groups within each facility, along with a licensed counselor available to provide patients with support whenever they might need it.

Types Of Treatment Provided

The sober living houses owned by this organization is divided into multiple programs. When a patient comes to the facility for the first time, they will undergo a consultation with a counselor. During this session, the counselor will determine how severe the patient’s addictions are and what type of treatment the patient requires to recover. The three specific treatment services that are currently offered at Steps House include:Residential recovery program (Male patients only) | Veterans services program | Women’s program

Methods of Addiction Treatment

Group support and therapy sessions are frequently held at the sober living houses where patients reside. In addition to these group sessions, patients are also provided access to one-on-one therapy with a trained and licensed counselor at a local facility that Steps House utilizes in order to help the patient in recovering from substance dependency issues.

Amenities

All of the sober living houses that Steps House owns are fully equipped with the essential furniture that is needed by patients to ensure they can continue living as if they are in their own home. There are living rooms, televisions, fully-equipped kitchens, as well as laundry services available to all patients. Up to five patients may reside in a single home at a time, which means patients who are interested in taking advantage of the programs offered at Steps House should be willing to share an apartment with other patients.

Payment Type Accepted

Details about the possibility of undergoing treatment and staying in one of the sober living houses at Steps House through an insurance policy has not been provided on the company’s website. Patients seem to be responsible for their own rental fees. It also seems like patients need to be employed if they wish to undergo treatment and stay in one of the sober living houses at Steps House.

Staff

Steps House offers a basic overview of staff that makes up the management team at the main office of the facility. The information offered is very limited and primarily includes a photo, name, and a title that the staff member serves. For patients who would like to know who will be managing the house that they will be staying in when they opt to live in one of the sober environments that the company offers, and those patients who would like to know more about the therapists that are involved in the therapeutic services offered at a local facility, a call to the company might be the best option. The administrative staff at the head office of Steps House would be able to provide the patient with additional information and answer their questions.Jody McClurg – Director of Residential Recovery Program | Eddie Ogle – Counselor Tech | Rev. Patrick White – Founder & CEO | Grant Henderson – Counselor

Types Of Treatment Provided

The conditions currently being treated at the company include:Social anxiety | Dermatillomania | Trichotillomania | Panic disorder | Phobia | Olfactory Reference Syndrome | Hypochondria | Body Dysmorphic Disorder

Calvary Healing Center

720 E. Montebello Ave, Phoenix, AZ, 85014
Overview

Calvary Healing Center is a group of centers in the Arizona state area that specializes in the treatment of different addictions, including addiction to drugs and, of course, alcohol. The group has been developed to offer patients caring treatment services that promote healing and recovery. Each patient is also treated as an individual. The management staff at Calvary Healing Center believes that there is no simple way to go about treating addiction since each patient presents a very unique case. For this reason, even though they do have a series of predefined programs available, each patient is provided with an individualized treatment that is suited to their needs.

Types Of Treatment Provided

A relatively large variety of treatment programs have been developed by Calvary Healing Center to help the patients who are addicted to certain substances overcome the disorder and get back to living their life to the fullest. The patient will first be evaluated by appropriate staff members. The intake assessment takes approximately two to three hours and will include a questionnaire and a full evaluation of the patient’s condition. This will allow the admission staff to know what problems the patient is facing and how exactly their addiction is currently affecting their life. With this in mind, the staff will be able to draw up a plan that is specifically tailored to the specific patient that is being evaluated. The treatment options that may be provided to the patient following a thorough evaluation include:Residential treatment programs | Outpatient care plans | Partial hospitalization | Medical Detoxification

Amenities

There are many amenities offered to patients who need to reside at the Calvary Healing Center to help them recover. This includes educational classes that ensure relapse can be effectively prevented, as well as recreation therapy. Additional holistic activities are also offered to patients who are interested, such a yoga and acupuncture. Furthermore, all patients are monitored day and night to ensure they receive adequate care.

Payment Type Accepted

Specific details on the pricing of treatment programs offered by the Calvary Healing Center is not provided on the company’s official website, which can be somewhat inconvenient for patients who are interested in being admitted to one of the inpatient or outpatient treatments that the center offers. Data on pricing help a patient determine the most appropriate location for them to seek treatment. While not the cheapest in the area, Calvary Healing Center does offer relatively affordable treatment. On average, patients pay around $15,000 for a 30-day residential treatment program. The cost of outpatient programs will likely be lower, but the specific prices are not provided prior to a full investigation of a patient’s condition and the drafting of a customized treatment plan. Calvary Healing Center accepts multiple insurance providers, including:Aetna Health Insurance | Humana Health Insurance | United HealthGroup Insurance | Cigna Health Insurance | Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association | ExclusiveCare Insurance | Magellan Health | MultiPlan | ComPsych | ValueOptions Health PlansA patient should contact the admissions office at Calvary Healing Center to verify the benefits of their insurance plan and to determine if their insurance agency would cover the costs of treatment at the facility. Patients who do not have an insurance plan or whose insurance plan does not cover the cost of the treatment they require to recover from their disorder can apply for special financial arrangements and still utilize the programs from Calvary Healing Center. Monthly payments can then be made after the patient has recovered with the help of the services provided by the center that provided them with the treatment.
