LifeLine For Youth

1130 W Center St, North Salt Lake, UT, 84054
Overview

At LifeLine For Youth, the founders understand that adolescents are often exposed to substances that may cause them harm and lead to the development of an addiction – these include illicit drugs, along with alcohol. This is why the center was founded initially – to provide effective treatment programs that target drug and alcohol addictions among teenagers in the local region. Apart from being able to assist in the treatment of addictions in adolescent patients, the treatment center has also developed a range of programs that can help the patients overcome the co-occurring disorders and behavioral issues that may be causing them further difficulties in their lives. These behavioral problems may include problems with the relationships they share with their families, as well as problems in school, problems with pornography, destructive behavior, and criminal behaviors.

Types Of Treatment Provided

All of the treatments that are administered to patients who undergo treatment at LifeLine For Youth are evidence-based and research-based therapeutic solutions that have already been proven to effectively assist in ensuring patients can overcome mental disorders, behavioral problems, and, of course, addictions. The programs help the patients grow and introduce them to multiple stages throughout their journey to recovery. Each patient is also provided with a full assessment before they are provided with any type of treatment to ensure the staff at the facility can completely understand what the patient is going through and how the center would be able to help the patient throughout their recovery period. Four primary stages form part of a patient’s recovery treatment at LifeLine For You. These four stages include:The Discovery Stage, which is based on a residential treatment approach | The Recovery Stage, which further provides the patient with residential treatment | The Integrate Stage, which is an intensive outpatient treatment program | The Aftercare Stage, which ensures the patient can receive continued support

Methods of Addiction Treatment

310 South First Ave, Sioux Falls, SD, 57104
Overview

Located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, The Carroll Institute is a substance abuse treatment organization that offers outpatient, counseling, and transitional living programs to clients living within the Sioux Falls area. The organization began as a committee that offered referrals and education to individuals living within the community with substance abuse issues. After they gained popularity, they began a DUI program, opened a halfway house, and facilitated prevention services within the community. The facility currently offers multiple outpatient treatment services to clients, as well as transitional living options and prevention education. They changed their name to The Carroll Institute from Community Committee on Alcohol Abuse as a way of paying respects to Lynn Carroll, who played an important role in the 12-step recovery movement. The facility currently offers treatment services to clients with chemical dependency and substance abuse issues, but cannot treat dual diagnosis patients. The treatment center also does not offer medical or detox services to clients, but clients who require such care will be referred to an outside facility. An intake evaluation is done at the beginning of treatment to determine the level of care a client requires. During this assessment, it will be determined if clients are struggling with a co-occurring disorder and require a more intensive program. Clients are required to pay a one-time fee before this intake assessment can be done. The facility offers outpatient treatment programs to adults only, and this program is heavily rooted in 12-step modalities. The typical duration of stay in a program is from six to eight weeks and during this time, clients are required to complete weekly individual therapy and 18 group sessions. In addition to these requirements, clients must attend 12-step meetings and topics such as anger and grief management, relapse triggers, self-esteem, and relationship support are offered. Clients are given the option of choosing between morning or evening sessions depending on the time of convenience. Morning sessions take place from 9 am to 13 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays while the evening sessions take place from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Clients addicted to methamphetamine can benefit from the slightly more expensive outpatient program offered by the facility. This program is under the intensive outpatient track and holds thrice weekly for three hours. Clients in this program are required to complete 12-step meetings, and family counseling and these groups utilize psychoeducation and cognitive behavioral therapy. The facility understands the importance of family involvement and as such offered a fairly comprehensive family program. Mountain View Hospital

3001 Scenic Hwy, Gadsden, AL, 35904
Overview

Mountain View Hospital was initially built as an exceptionally small facility for the treatment of tuberculosis back in 1918. Since then, the company has burnt down and was completely rebuilt, and has also evolved over the years into a full treatment center that can help patients with a variety of problems, including psychiatric conditions and mental health issues, as well as problems with addictions to drugs, as well as alcohol. The facility also recently introduced new units that they manage, where some patients may qualify to undergo inpatient treatment services. Prior to the introduction of this new facility, all patients were treated through outpatient programs and services at the Mountain View Hospital.

Types Of Treatment Provided

Mountain View Hospital offers treatment solutions that can be provided to a wide range of patients. While addiction recovery services are part of the solutions that they have to offer their patients, a number of other services are also available. Patients who have an addiction and is suffering from a mental disorder can be treated for both of these conditions through a single treatment program. The treatment options presented to patients at Mountain View Hospital are primarily divided into the following categories:Outpatient treatment services | Inpatient psychiatric treatment services | Summit Crest Lodge for adolescents and pre-adolescents

Methods of Addiction Treatment

The treatments that patients will gain access to when they are admitted to either an inpatient or outpatient program at Mountain View Hospital will primarily rely on therapy sessions with a licensed counselor in order to help the patient address the root causes of their symptoms and issues. Individual sessions with these therapists will ultimately be a key to the recovery of the patient. Group therapy is another useful option that is provided to some patients, depending on the specific program that they have been admitted to.

Amenities

Not much is mentioned regarding amenities that the company is able to offer the patients who need to undergo residential treatment services, but it should also be noted that these services primarily focus on those patients with psychiatric disorders, and not on the patients with active addictions. We did note that some of the programs offered at the facility include access to medication management services, which can be useful to some patients.

Payment Type Accepted

Since each patient who comes to Mountain View Hospital will be provided with a program that is customized and tailored to what they need to recover, it is difficult for the center to offer an accurate overview of the costs involved with treatment. Several insurance providers are accepted at Mountain View Hospital, but the patient is advised that their benefits first need to be verified. The patient may take their insurance card to the admission staff members at the facility to help them determine if their current insurance policy would pay for the services needed from Mountain View Hospital.

Staff

Mountain View Hospital has expanded greatly over the last few decades and now operates multiple facilities within the Alabama region. This also means that they have increased the number of staff members employed to provide effective and professional services to the patients who are being treated through the programs that the company has to offer. Even though they do seem to have a large board of staff members that offer their services and care to patients, the company has not disclosed any details of the treatment team that cares for patients who come to Mountain View Hospital on their website. The only information related to staff shared on their website is a list related to the board of directors. Patients should contact the company directly for more extensive details of their treatment and medical staff.G. Michael Shehi (MD) – Medical Director, Charmain of the Board, CEO of Mountain View HospitalG.
