Overview

The New Chance rehabilitation center was first founded over 40 years ago, in the quiet, nice Dodge City in the state of Kansas. It started as a small rehabilitation center, only grew later to become a high-quality rehabilitation center able to treat even the most severe cases of addiction issues. Both men and women are to be welcomed into the facility. Inpatient and outpatient treatment programs are both offered at the New Chance rehabilitation center, with a focus on the inpatient treatment program, as the outpatient treatment program is only offered to patients who are unable to leave work/school in order to attend to therapy, included milder cases of addiction, and patients who have already completed their inpatient treatment program. The inpatient treatment program lasts 30 days, while the duration of the outpatient treatment program is for the assigned counselor to determine. Dual diagnosis is not provided at the facility, due to the lack of psychiatric staff. In addition, full medical detox is not available on-site. However, the New Chance rehabilitation center does provide a non-medical detox in the duration of five days on-site. Apart from self-willing patients, the New Chance rehabilitation center also accepts court-refereed patients as well. The treatment programs include evidence-based therapy – CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), individual and group therapy sessions. Reality therapy is also included. Once again, the 12-step recovery model is to be practiced on the grounds of the New Chance rehabilitation center. During this period of time, patients engage in individual and group therapy sessions, based on the use of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). | Outpatient treatment program – The outpatient treatment program is recommended to milder cases, due to the fact that it does not require patients to live on the grounds of the facility during their treatment. Also, patients who have completed their inpatient treatment program but are in need of continued therapy are advised to peruse the outpatient treatment program. Of course, the outpatient treatment program includes the same therapy methods as the inpatient treatment program, provided at the facility, according to the needs of the patient.
