Faith Home Greenwood

144 Faith Home Rd, Greenwood, SC, 29649
Overview

Faith Home is a recovery center that specializes in providing patients with services that target addiction disorders. This is a Christian owned and operated center, where all of the services provided take a religious approach. Patients are required to only utilize books, CDs, and other items that are related to the Christian religion. The center is relatively strict, but the staff is highly trained, and they ensure appropriate treatments can be provided to the patient in order to ensure that they can recover without a chance of remission during their stay at the facility while undergoing a residential treatment program. Patients who undergo treatment at Faith Home are required to participate in services such as Bible studies, devotion sessions, and frequently participate in church services.

Types Of Treatment Provided

After a patient undergoes an admission process, they are placed into one of the facilities owned by Faith Home. The placement will be determined by the patient’s specific condition – including what substance they are addicted to, how long they have been abusing the substance, and how severe their substance abuse disorder is.The recovery program developed by Faith Home gives the patient access to a wide variety of services for better care and recovery:Christian and Bible studies | Daily physical therapy program sessions | Access to activities like a choir, foosball, ping-pong, and a weight room | Chapel services | AA and NA meetings | Morning devotion sessions

Methods of Addiction Treatment

Faith Home offers a range of therapies to their clients in order to promote mental healing, including:Individual one-on-one therapy sessions | Family therapy sessions

Amenities

A variety of amenities and activities are provided to patients admitted to a treatment program at a Faith Home center. The center allows patients to participate in a Christian choir, which gives them an opportunity to join the choir and sing at a variety of Christian church services. Each year, a barbecue is held, where the patients are invited to join in, along with their families, in order to wind down, relax, and to have some fun. Other activities and amenities include the 5K Race for Recovery, the Christmas Fundraiser, and the gospel singing groups that occur four times each year.

Payment Type Accepted

One of the most convenient factors about Faith Home is that they do not charge the patient a specific fee for the services that are provided to them. Patients can undergo the admissions process and be admitted to a treatment program without the need to pay any expensive fees in order to recover from their substance abuse disorder.Even though treatments are provided free-of-charge, it should be noted that the company relies on donations made to them in order to continue providing such services. Patients who are able to contribute some money to the company are welcomes to make a donation to the facility in order to help them continue providing those who are in need, but unable to afford recovery treatment, with the services they need for better chances at recovery.

Staff

Unfortunately, Faith Home does not provide transparency in terms of the staff that are involved in administering treatments to the patients who are admitted to the center. This can be an unpleasant fact for many individuals. Even though the services at Faith Home are provided for free, the patients who require such assistance may still feel more comfortable when they know more about the staff members, directors, and other individuals who are active at the center. This would allow the patient to know that the treatment services that they will be undergoing are developed by experienced staff members that have appropriate skills and qualifications that ensure high-quality services can be offered to every patient.

Our Lady of Peace

2020 Newburg Rd, Louisville, KY, 40205
Overview

Our Lady of Peace is a large facility that was developed by the KentuckyOne Health Group and provides various treatment services that are tailored toward patients based on their age, gender, and their specific needs. The center is dedicated to providing affordable health care to patients in need of behavioral treatment services, and can also be utilized by individuals who need to undergo detoxification and inpatient addiction recovery programs. Our Lady of Peace accepts multiple insurance providers and welcomes the help of volunteers in order to continue providing effective and accessible care to those patients who desperately need to recover, heal and improve.

Types Of Treatment Provided

The treatment programs that are offered by Our Lady of Peace specializes in three different departments of healthcare:Addiction recovery treatment | Addiction recovery with co-occurring mental diseases | Mental diseases with no existing addictionsOne particular factor that should be noted is that the facility is divided into two major categories, with one of these departments offering treatment services specifically tailored for children and adolescents, and the other department providing programs that are suited for adults. Before a patient can be submitted to the center, a full evaluation of the patient’s condition is needed. The patient will undergo an assessment, conducted by a professional counselor, to determine what type of programs they need to recover, whether from a mental disease or addiction disorder. Patients who come in with an addiction and a co-occurring mental health issue will be treated for both conditions simultaneously. The main types of programs offered by Our Lady of Peace include:Inpatient care services | Partial Hospitalization programs | Intensive outpatient care

Amenities

A full range of amenities is provided at the Our Lady of Peace Center, which ultimately helps the patient recover faster and more effectively, leading to long-term sobriety success. Amenities include pharmacist-operated clinics and health centers, along with partial hospitalization treatment centers. Patients are also provided access to licensed nurses, highly experienced and trained psychiatrists, and other medical staff that are available to help them gain the care they require to succeed in their recovery from drugs and alcohol, or from a mental disorder that is causing them difficulty in life.

Payment Type Accepted

Even though Our Lady of Peace is registered under a not-for-profit organization, all treatments provided by the company come at a cost. Unfortunately, the company does not provide any specific pricing details or averages on their website, which could have been useful to patients. Pricing information allows a patient interested in utilizing a treatment program from the facility to understand whether they would be able to afford the center’s assistance. Fortunately, Our Lady of Peace is covered by some health insurance policies, including a couple of federally-funded options like Medicare. Patients are advised to reach out to the admission staff to assess whether their insurance plan would cover the costs of care, whether they require an outpatient or a residential treatment program. Insured patients, as well as those without access to a medical insurance plan, will need to pay for the services they require themselves. Financial assistance is available for some patients, but a qualification procedure first needs to be conducted. Furthermore, repayment plans that suit the budget and financial situation of the patient may be arranged by speaking with the financial counselor at Our Lady of Peace.

Staff

The Our Lady of Peace center does not provide any information in regards to the physicians, psychiatrists, or any other medical staff that are part of the programs offered at their facility. This is unfortunate as patients would not be able to gain some insight into the staff who are monitoring each program, and who will be providing them with counseling, medication management, and other services should they decide to utilize the services of this particular organization. The website that represents the network under which Our Lady of Peace falls, being KentuckyOne Health, does offer a search feature that can be used to find physicians in specific areas, but still does not relate to the particular professionals employed at this center.
