OnTrack Rogue Valley

209 W. Main Street, Medford, OR, 97501
Overview

OnTrack is a recovery center with multiple facilities at different Oregon locations such as Medford, White City, Grant Pass, Ashland, and others. The recovery center focuses on providing comprehensive substance abuse treatment and cares for patients as well as their families. OnTrack was founded by Dr. Rita Sullivan over 40 years ago, and during this time it has provided individual and family-centered treatment that was specifically created to transform patients and their families into healthy and functional entities that can achieve their goals and remain substance-free. The main mission of OnTrack is to empower clients and their family members and motivate them to overcome addiction and poverty through therapy sessions involving counseling, but also through education, life skills training, and other approaches. The treatment center provides both residential and outpatient treatment to their patients. Nobody is refused a treatment based on their sexual orientation, nationality, religion, marital status, or some other factor.

Types Of Treatment Provided

The treatment center provides both residential and outpatient treatment programs. Their programs are evidence-based, family-centric, and trauma-informed to allow both patient and their family to get as many resources as possible for a successful recovery. Residential and outpatient substance abuse treatments are provided to single adults, mothers with children, and fathers with children. The last two options are of huge importance particularly if we bear in mind it’s difficult for most parents to find the right treatment program that suits their unique needs. OnTrack does not provide medication management and detox services, but if a patient’s problem requires these treatment approaches the recovery center will make it possible through close collaboration with facilities that do. It’s important to mention that OnTrack provides dual diagnosis treatment and patients who undergo it are escorted to all their appointments, just like pregnant women. OnTrack relies greatly on 12-step recovery program and patients are expected to attend 10 meetings a week. Therapy sessions are the core of each program, and they can be held in a mixed and gender-specific setting. Treatment also involves regular exercise as physical fitness plays an important role in emotional and mental health and it can help during the recovery process. Residential treatment options at OnTrack include:Short-term residential (up to 30 days) | Long-term residential (longer than 30 days) | HOME Program for moms | Dad’s program | Grant pass residential facility | Second-chance housingOutpatient treatment options are:Regular outpatient treatment | Intensive outpatient treatment | DUII (driving under the influence and intoxication) | DAAP (domestic abuse alternatives program) | MAT (medication-assisted treatment) counseling | Anger management | Teen program | Breaking free for women who have been victims, survivors, or aggressors in their relationships | LGBTQ + addiction | Family connections | Little Tracker’s children’s daycare | Alan Collins AIDS Project (HIV prevention)It’s important to mention that residential treatment is suitable for patients with a more severe substance abuse problem who need supervision and also medical assistance when necessary. Outpatient programs are suitable for patients whose addiction isn’t severe, or they just started, but also for persons who have completed residential treatment and need extended support to their recovery. OnTrack can also treat adolescents and DUI/DWI offenders in addition to expectant mothers, fathers, and single adults with drug and alcohol addiction.

Methods of Addiction Treatment

Successful recovery from a substance abuse problem requires self-knowledge and stronger mental and emotional health. Addiction is a disease meaning it has a root cause that a patient needs to discover in order to move on and recover. That’s where therapy steps in! The primary objective of therapies is to support the patient on their way to self-discovery and help them battle their demons, cope with traumatic events, and strengthen emotionally and mentally. That way, a person changes life perspective and is more capable of handling stress, problems, traumas, and other both positive and negative situations in a healthier manner. OnTrack uses various therapies in their programs, and some of them include:Group therapy | Individual therapy | Cognitive behavioral therapy | Dialectical behavioral therapy | Substance abuse counseling approach | Trauma-related counseling | Rational emotive behavioral therapy

Amenities

HOME and DADS residences for mothers and fathers with children are, probably, the best thing about OnTrack. Many parents struggle with addiction, but they are unable to find a program that would allow them to spend time with kids while getting treated for substance abuse. Even outpatient programs of many recovery centers don’t really take into account the unique needs of parents and their children. Thanks to their residential treatment for parents, but also for single adults OnTrack is able to address concerns that many people have and offer them everything they need for a healthier way of life.

Payment Type Accepted

It is the mission of OnTrack to treat all patients who need their help regardless of their ability to pay. Nobody was refused service or much-needed treatment due to low-income or because they were unable to pay for the program. The recovery center is flexible in terms of payment options as their services are offered on a sliding-fee scale, and most major insurance plans including Oregon Health Plan are accepted. The precise costs of treatments at OnTrack aren’t revealed due to the customized approach to recovery and different needs of each patient or client. If you’re still interested in how much it would cost to get an addiction treatment at OnTrack, it’s useful to contact them, describe your problem as well as your needs and schedule an appointment to have a conversation with them at their facilities.

Staff

Led by a mission to empower patients and their families on the road to successful recovery from substance abuse, OnTrack gathered a team of experts and professionals who work closely with clients and their loved ones. The official website presents short bio of the executive director only but also lists names of team members who work at certain positions. Overview

Anuvia is a prevention and recovery treatment center that promotes wellness, life without substance abuse, and treats patients who battle with alcohol and drug addiction. The treatment center was founded back in 1957 when the State of North Carolina asked ABC Boards to dedicate a certain percentage of their profit to alcohol education and rehabilitation programs. Citizens realized there is a growing need for a facility or establishment that will not only promote wellness but also care for those who need help. The idea developed across the span of a few decades, clinics and organizations were formed. In 1994, the Randolph Clinic and the Charlotte Council on Alcoholism merged into Chemical Dependency Center with a goal to provide a more effective, comprehensive and affordable treatment. On the 50th anniversary, the center was renamed to Anuvia Prevention and Recovery Center to depict the whole-roundedness of the treatment and prevention services. The facility provides both inpatient and outpatient treatment options but also offers intervention programs, community education, and so much more.

While some centers provide only treatment services Anuvia strives to educate so they offer prevention services as well. The treatment center has various programs for persons who have been charged or convicted of impaired driving. Short-term treatments are available as well as early intervention programsBefore the actual treatment, patients first go through the assessment that determines the severity of addiction. After the evaluation, the adequate treatment option is recommended after which a patient receives much-needed guidance, counseling, and care. Treatment is a combination of client and group counseling, promotes abstinence, helps patients explore 12-step recovery and builds support that continues even after the treatment is over.

Amenities

Anuvia is a great place for persons who want to overcome their drug- or alcohol-related problem, but also for family or friends who want to stage an intervention for their loved one. That’s the place that offers education, guidance, and support.

Payment Type Accepted

Prices of the treatment at Anuvia are not revealed, but the center describes them as financially affordable. Prior to the treatment, staff members discuss payment options with patients. Anuvia accepts major insurances including Medicaid. The treatment center also provides sliding fees for patients who qualify. In order to learn more about payment options including costs of the treatment, you need to contact Anuvia. The only price that is revealed on the website is the average cost of an assessment. Prices of the evaluations vary depending on the type of the assessment but the average price is $100. However, out of state DWI requires an additional $75 for the processing fee. For patients from a few states yet another fee costing $75 is charged due to extensive paperwork so the total price for assessment in their case would be $260.

Staff

Patients who come to Anuvia in order to overcome the addiction are in good hands. The treatment center has a great team of professionals who are educated and trained to handle different kinds of cases successfully. The official website reveals names staff members, which many treatment centers don’t, but their bios and photos are not available. The only thing you can see is a list of names and roles they have, but it’s easy to put two and two together and conclude that the lineup is truly impressive. Staff members who care for the center and the patients at Anuvia are:Larry R. Snider – executive director | Cindy Murphy – director of prevention and intervention services | Jo-Ellen McQuade – director of human resources | Mackie Johnson – director of clinical services | Charity Arnold – clinical supervisor – day treatment | Edward Blevins – detox services | Christian Cirkoski – facilities supervisor | Angela Daniell – administrative supervisor | Brittany Hammond – clinical supervisor – residential services | Dianne Lyman – court services supervisor | Zorana Roldan Romo – prevention supervisor | Heather Drum – clinical compliance manager

In 2001, Anuvia has been accredited by CARF (the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). As an international non-profit organization, CARF puts an emphasis on quality, value, and successful services. Castlewood Treatment Center

800 Holland Rd, St. Louis, MO, 63021
Overview

Castlewood Treatment Center is an eating disorder treatment facility that was recently renamed to Alsana. The center is dedicated to helping patients who are suffering from an active eating disorder, be it anorexia, binge eating disorder, or perhaps bulimia, overcome these disorders and regain the ability to eat healthily and reduce the effects that these particular eating disorders might have had on their lives at the time of initiating the treatment protocol. Even though renamed to Alsana, the facility still provides top-quality care to all of the patients and still specializes in all of the particular treatments and services they aimed to treat prior to the change in their name. Even though the facility primarily focuses on providing their treatment services to female patients, they do have the ability to provide treatment for male patients with eating disorders as well.

Types Of Treatment Provided

Even though the website that represents Castlewood Treatment Center provide a comprehensive overview of the specific services that patients can undergo at the facility, it does not seem like the facility has decided to share information about the staff who are involved at the center. This can certainly be an unfortunate factor, especially for those patients who are still wary of being treated as a rehabilitation center. Fortunately, the center does seem open to providing interested patients with a guide on what the center would be able to offer them. This would allow the patient to get an overview of the staff members that will be treating them before they are admitted. Patients often find that they feel more comfortable undergoing treatment at a facility when they know more about the medical team members who administer the treatment protocols that are offered at the particular center.

Salvation Army Harbor Light Michigan

3737 Lawton St, Detroit , MI, 48208
Overview

The Salvation Army does not truly consider themselves a company or an organization, but rather refers to themselves as an international movement that aims to help people from all around the world and all walks of life gain access to the necessities in life, as well as essential services that they might need to survive and walk positive and successful paths. The Salvation Army Harbor Light program offers people access to a range of treatment services that aim to help patients recover from addictions to pharmaceutical drugs, illicit drugs, and, of course, to assist in treating alcoholism. While outpatient services and sober living programs are offered through the Harbor Light program, the Michigan division of this particular program tend to focus more on providing patients with residential treatment care services to help the patient recover while they are living in a sober, drug and alcohol-free environment. A large range of services are included in the residential programs that are offered, and there are three facilities located throughout the Michigan state to ensure a larger area can be covered.

Types Of Treatment Provided

The staff members that are involved with the three addiction treatment facilities operated by the Salvation Army in the Michigan region are able to assist in providing patients with an individualized treatment plan that takes their unique circumstances and conditions into account. A sub-acute detoxification program is available for patients who require a more intensive residential treatment approach. Several treatment options may also be included in the patient’s individualized treatment program, depending on the symptoms they present during an initial review with one of the intake counselors. Treatment options that may be provided to the patient include:Up to five days of detoxification services | Psychiatric treatment services | Evidence-based treatment protocols | AA/NA meetings | 12-step recovery program | Treatment for co-occurring disorders

Methods of Addiction Treatment

As part of the residential treatment services offered at Salvation Army Harbor Light Michigan, patients will undergo therapy with a dedicated psychiatrist to help them throughout their recovery. Apart from the individual sessions with a therapist, patients will also undergo AA meetings and other types of group therapy sessions.

Amenities

Patients who become part of the residential treatment program at one of the three facilities operated by the organization in the Michigan state will be provided access to closet space, along with additional amenities that may become useful to them during their recovery. Women with children are also provided access to the Evangeline Center. There is a specialized unit available for patients who are deaf as well. Patients are also given three meals per day while they are undergoing residential treatment at one of the three facilities operated by the Salvation Army’s Harbor Light Eastern Michigan division.

Payment Type Accepted

The Salvation Army relies on the support that they obtain from donations in order to continue providing patients access to treatment services that help them recover from their addictions, as well as any co-occurring disorders that the patient may be suffering from. The services that are available at the residential treatment units in Michigan are provided free-of-charge to patients who commit toward recovery. Patients are, however, welcome to provide the facility where they are being treated with a donation, should they be able to.

Staff

The Salvation Army is an international “movement” that has members all over the world. Soldiers, officers, volunteers, physicians – there are many members that make up this large organization. Even though we have focused on the organization’s division in Michigan in this review, it should be noted that no specific details are provided in terms of the staff members that are involved with any specific facility that the organization operates. The main website simply provides a broad overview of the higher members who are involved at an international level with the organization, but the data is very limited. Since many patients do feel that they would like to ensure they will be treated by experienced and qualified staff before they commit to recovering at a specific facility, such as the Salvation Army Harbor Light facility in Michigan, we do advise a call or a visit to the facility that is closest to the particular patient’s location. There are three different facilities throughout the Michigan state, each with their own staff members. Patients will be able to gain more insight into the volunteers and employees at the facility by visiting them directly.

Licence(s)

No details are provided regarding the licenses that have been provided to the Salvation Army Harbor Light’s facilities in Michigan. We were unable to determine if the appropriate departments of the Michigan state have licensed these facilities to provide residential addiction treatment services to patients. The company also does not state whether or not their services have been evaluated by the Joint Commission, by CARF, or any other bodies that specialize in reviewing the services provided by such rehabilitation centers in the United States.
